Daniel Linderman

Daniel Linderman is a wealthy collector of art and a Buddhist chef. He has many antiquities based in Las Vegas. He has great wealth at his disposal and has made large donations to the political campaigns of two generations of the Petrelli family (Nathan Petrelli and his father). Rumors abound regarding Mr. Linderman's connections with organized crime but these are unsubstantiated, and anyone who says otherwise had best taken care. It also seems that Mr Linderman's unsubstantiated crime record is helped kept a secret by the late husband of Angela Petrelli.
Linderman is a fan of the art of Isaac Mendez, purchasing any Mendez works that he comes across. To this end he had a healthy working relationship with Simone Deveaux, Mr Mendez's primary art dealer.
Linderman once went under the codename Austin back in the Vietnam war, where his ability of healing was witnessed by a fellow soldier, Dallas (Mr Petrelli), who then reported it to his superiors.
Linderman used Micah Sanders to ensure Nathan Petrelli would be elected as congressman. His longtime manipulation of Micah and his parents, D.L. Hawkins and Niki Sanders, came to an end the night New York City was to be destroyed. After wounding D.L., Linderman attempted to murder Niki as well, until D.L. phased his fist through Linderman's skull.
It was Linderman's belief that a small sacrifice of .7% of the worlds population was justifiable for the greater good and that most things can be solved with money/ violence and bribery although he takes great care to make sure his hands are personally clean of these crimes.
