Divination is a form of Clairvoyance necessitating a tool such as tarot cards runes or cultural omens. Dreams can also be used, as well as patterns in fires, the running of water and a myriad of other media. Divination is not limited to likely future events but can show the person with this gift the present in a different light as well as the past.
- Divination is not to be confused with Psychometry. Psychometry is where someone holds an object and tells one where the object has been and sometimes can tell one about whomever last handled the object. Divination is different. It is seeing the patterns in tealeaves, tarot cards, dream symbols etc. and being able to determine the big picture of what has occurred, what is occurring and what will likely occur.
