Dr. Chandra Suresh, a pioneer into the field of genetic mutation, is dead. His son, Mohinder Suresh, took over his work and, subsequently, experimented on himself. Turning himself into something reminiscent of Jeff Goldblum in 'The Fly'.
Exactly what was Dr. Suresh's work?
- To find a cure for the Shanti virus which killed his daughter.
- To find out if the Shanti virus and Enhanced Humans are connected.
- Determine what makes a person have anomalistic abilities.
Dr. Suresh was the first geneticist to attempt to isolate the specific sequence of DNA that accounted for the Anomalistic Abilities evident in the human race. After his death, his son Mohinder Suresh was able to complete his work. Mohinder was able to isolate the specific sequence of DNA which allowed for these abilities.
With this information a list of known humans with advanced genes could be compiled as well as a test that could be administered to see if someone could develop these abilities. With further research a "cure" could be discovered if one is necessary.
Considering:
- The revelation of Primatech Paper as already having knowledge of these abilities apparently far longer than Dr. Suresh had even been searching for the clue. Thanks in part to Adam Monroe.
- Chandra Suresh and Mohinder Suresh provided a "cure" that the company could use to negate the powers of enhanced humans. This "cure" could be used on persons who exhibit dangerous abilities. This allowed the company to pick and choose whose abilities were deemed to be dangerous as they saw fit.
- Mohinder Suresh's selling out to Primatech Paper and assisting Robert Bishop in additional research.
- Dr. Chandra Suresh's goals have been achieved.
The Wiki, specifically the Activating Evolution part of it, is Old School. The Company has pushed the boundaries of what Dr. Suresh only started to scratch the surface of. It is apparent that genetics plays a very important role in the propagation of these powers. When the Company was founded, the technology that exists today was only a pipe dream. Dr. Suresh would be amazed at the leaps that have been made by Primatech alone in the advancement of research into anomalistic abilities.
Studying the wiki, it would seem that all avenues of advanced evolution have been postulated. All that remains now is cataloging the powers into the various categories of their evolution, and what these powers will lead them through. The adding of new powers as they are manifested or even theorized to exist will be top priority of Primatech Paper Company.
Dr. Suresh activated evolution, we shall try to advance it.

Folks, looks like we are about to have a lot of company. I want to remind everyone to be on their best behavior and remember 'Loose Lips Sink Ships.' That is all.

As feared The Company is in trouble. Serious trouble. EVSDROPR managed to put a very big dent and strain on their resources. Advancing Evolution furthers Doctor Suresh's studies, and the Activating Evolution web site will soon be obsolete.
Doctor Suresh himself has lost his own vision and that of his fathers and succumbed to the 'dark side' so to speak. He has managed to synthesize a variant of the virus and, contrary to normal scientific routines, tested it on himself. Creating in the process a Jekyll and Hyde personality. Although Dr. Suresh appears to be maintaining his diary on the Activating Evolution web site he is no longer working for Primatech Paper, instead he is now in the company of Primatechs' arch rival Pinehearst Research.
The questions now become 'who are we working for, why are we still working?'
[edit] Pinehearst Destroyed?
While this may be news to some, our competitor, Pinehearst, was recently destroyed by a mysterious explosion. All personnel are feared lost.
On a similar note, our Upstate New York Facility, Hartsdale, was also destroyed by a mysterious fire.
It is unknown at this time if the two events are related.
Rest assured Primatech is business as usual, with locations to serve around the globe.

As of -- 20:08, 9 March 2009 (EDT) -- Mohinder has gone rogue. He is no longer associated with this company or work except by Name.
This site has some features that become disabled depending upon how one has the site 'skinned' (Preferences\Skin) Best results can be obtained by using the 'Cologne Blue' skin. Tables become sortable, editing tools become visible.

All Activating Evolution Wiki Warriors! It has come to our attention that this site has been not-recently abandoned by the people who originally had the idea. It has also come to our attention that we are currently under attack by vandals, and the vandalism is rising more and more. We are under attack here at Activating Evolution, and we must take the reins where the site designer left off to fend off the maleficent attack of the RPG'ers who believe that this site features too many abilities that are out of the norm, as we are being attacked from all sides (the designer has abandoned it, the producers are against it and the RPG'ers think they have the authority to judge what does and does not belong in the "Heroes" universe, and hence the authority to spam those they see unfit). We must not take this sitting down!!! This is not meant to incite anarchy, but rather raise our awareness! So be kind. Check pages that you suspect of vandalism. Help to diminish the effect the vandals have on decent and useful information (even humorous pages deserve respect). Act as soon as possible! Delete Spam and Junk Pages!
