An enhanced individual. At first believed to possess similar abilities as Hana Gitelman and Richard Drucker, further testing revealed his ability was tied closer to the visual acuity center of the brain. This allowed him to visually capture and retain information as fast as he could, well, visualize it.
Matt was employed by the Company to assist in re-constructing Chandra Suresh's files on the Company's mainframe. It was during this tenure he detected the presence of Hana Gitelman and her uncle Richard Drucker attempting to upload a virus to the mainframe. Quick thinking on Elle Bishop's part resulted in total download of the Company's mainframe into Matt's head and the 'deaths' of Hana Gitelman and Richard Drucker. Matt later died while attempting to re-upload the data he had previously downloaded from the Company's Main frame.
Matt's death appeared to have a sobering effect on Elle Bishop.
