Meredith Gordon

Meredith Gordon is the birth mother of Claire Bennet. She is also an evolved person who possesses the ability of pyrokinesis. Both she and Claire were presumed to have died in an apartment fire in 1992; however, they both survived, by unknown means.
She was once in a relationship with Nathan Petrelli, who is Claire's biological father. However, recently she has blackmailed him for $100,000 to keep their daughter's paternity a secret. She may or may not use her power to cook delicious meals. She also told her daughter that she was moving back to Mexico, even though Claire was still desperate for more answers.
Recently it has come to light that Meredith has been in the employ of The Company for some time. Even crossing her daughters path (Unbeknownst to either party) during a bag and tag mission to capture her brother, Flint Gordon
