Talk:Panmnesia
From Activating Evolution
WE SHOULD CHANGE THE NAME OF IT TO PANMNESIA, WHICH MEANS THAT YOU REMEMBER EVERYTHING. iT BASICALLY MEANS THE SAME THING, ITS JUST SHORTER.
--Shadowulf1 00:33, 11 August 2008 (EDT)Quick question...If Charlie Andrews had Eidetic Memory, then does Matt Neuenberg have the same ability or panmnesia?
Matt Neuenberg was more like a human hard drive he could store and recall information but couldn't learn from it as Charlie learned from the information. --Psych-Gen 07:59, 11 August 2008 (EDT)
==*well*==--Shadowulf1 23:05, 11 August 2008 (EDT)So...no offense, but that isn't very helpful. Does he appear to have an extreme version of eidetic memory, or panmnesia?
- Okay from other sources, definitions of the two, thats a tough call, eidetic usually refers to photographic memory and seems to have more to do with recalling something. Panmnesia refers to something remembered always remembered. Sooo the way I seem to understand it, eidetic thinking doesn't require conscious thought to recall, whereas panmnesia seems to require that the subject know that they have remembered the information. I suspect though with repeated use\practice eidetic eventually becomes panmnesia. --Psych-Gen 18:00, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
--Shadowulf1 16:39, 12 August 2008 (EDT)Thnx for the explnation about what you meant. I suppose his knowledge is more eidetic now, but could eventually turn into panmnesia. That's interesting stuff, like Spatial Distortion turning into Teleportation, or Telepathy into Psychic Persuasion and the like.
