Tito is the nickname for Timothy Thomas Taylor, who was born and raised in the heartland of the country, Kansas. Not to be mistaken with ToTo, who was a very brave dog who helped Dorothy, The Scarecrow, The Tinman and The Cowardly Lion when they were in dire trouble.
Tito first became aware that he was special when he was 7 years old. On a cold, rainy, stormy Kansas night, Tito saved his family from being blown into the center of a monster tornado. His parents were amazed that his physical strength was so great, that he held them all together so as to not be separated during the storm.
When Tito reached puberty, even more exhibitions of unusual powers came to be. It seemed he could read the thoughts of people, and could anticipate when a loved one was in danger. He saved many of his friends from fatal car accident on the winding 169 Highway south of Olathe. Some people thought he might be sabotaging his friends vehicles in order to be the hero of the moment. But some also wandered, could he be the one?
During his senior year of high school, a man by the name of Robert Bishop approached him after a nock-out game the team played. Mr. Bishop offered Tito a chance to go to KU and become a Kansas University Jay Hawk. Little did Tito know, that was only the beginning of his true troubles.
Whisked away with Mr. Bishop, Tito was taken to Odessa, Texas for further training. Little did he know, his training was not additional training in football. He was to be trained as a killer for The Company. Bob Bishop handed Tito over to Noah Bennet for his intense training and testing. Mr. Bennet was amazed at this young man's hidden powers. He soon realized that this young man was very special, indeed.
Noah Bennet kept in very close contact with Tito at all times. He even had his daughter, Claire hang out with Tito to report back to him about what she saw and felt about Tito.
Elle Bishop became rather jealous of the relationship building between Tito and Claire. During a day of relaxation, Elle just happened to appear at the lake where Tito and Claire were having a nice picnic. So enraged was Elle, she unleashed her powers upon Tito. Tito was severely injured from the altercation, and Mr. Bennet took him to a save haven for medical attention. Noah also realized at that time that Tito was wavering between good and bad. Tito was placed in solitary observation for three years on the dreaded fifth floor of the Company.
Once released, Tito was very weary of The Company and vowed to himself that he would try to destroy all that The Company stood for. He went on the run, with a man known as Richard Drucker. Drucker completed the transformation of Tito, and now Tito is a threat to The Company. No one really knows where he is, or if he is even in a physical form. His abilities became so advanced, that no one could possibly stop him from his crusade.
Except, maybe, Sylar.
